Big People Talk
Grote Mensen Praat (GMP) is a social and community organization that supports young people aged 16 to 27 in the transition to young adult life, through training , drop-in consultations and our online platform .
Many young people experience the path to adulthood as complicated, overwhelming and unclear. Big People Talk wants to lower the threshold by offering information through education, through institutions that are committed to young people and through an online platform.
Doel
Our goal is to ensure that young people know what to arrange, to be prepared for adult life and that young adults are kept informed of current information relevant to arranging 'adult affairs'.

THE PROBLEM
Convenience & Lack of self-reliance
Lack of ownership
Young people see school as a logical place to learn about rules, but this is not included in the curriculum. Schools do not take an active role in guiding students through the transition to young adulthood, while most young people, especially those without parental support, need this.
LET'S COLLABORATE!
Services
Many young people experience the transition to young adulthood as complicated and overwhelming . Big People Talk offers a solution in the form of information provision , aimed at giving young people clarity about what, why and how they should manage their affairs. This is done through educational institutions, youth organisations and the GMP online platform, so that young people acquire the skills and knowledge they need to successfully integrate into society and start their adult lives with confidence.
